Paramount Care Aberdeen recruit in line with Care Inspectorate and Scottish Social Services Recruitment guidelines. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of our service users. Vetting includes positive reference checks from previous employers as well as Protection of Vulnerable Groups’ membership through Disclosure Scotland.
Our care worker training
Although experience is preferred, this is not essential, as full training will be provided. We offer extensive training including a comprehensive induction and mandatory training to ensure our care workers have the skills and confidence to provide a high standard of care to our service users. Training updates and ongoing development is provided to ensure our care workers are competent in their roles.
Prerequisites
The requirement to register with the Scottish Social Services Council is essential.
SVQ 2 or 3 is preferable but not essential as we are an approved SQA Centre and currently deliver the SVQ 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care.
